We dated and were engaged for fifteen months, and have been happily married for 9 years.
After years of trying unsuccessfully to have children on our own and multiple IUI treatments that proved to be ineffective, we felt led to pursue adoption. We’ve always had a passion to adopt, as we have immediate family members that were adopted.
As a secondary education teacher and an elementary school counselor, we have over 30 years of experience working with children in the public-school system. Our profession has allowed us travel throughout the year and all over the world. We enjoy going on cruises, hiking in the mountains, fishing in our backyard pond, spending time with family, and attending LSU sporting events. We are very close to our immediate family, and they are excited about our plans to adopt.
