Have you ever been in a situation where you needed to offer words of encouragement or guidance to a woman in a crisis pregnancy situation? Did you have trouble figuring out exactly what to say or do? – Well, there’s an app for that!
FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, has partnered with The Sisters of Life, a community of religious sisters devoted to the protection and sacredness of every human life. The Life App is part of FOCUS’ Love Life initiative to save both mothers and their unborn children.
The Life App shows people how to respond appropriately (with compassion and hope), when encountering a woman in a crisis pregnancy situation, giving her the strength to make the best choice for her and her baby.
The LIFE app has four main tabs to help family and friends respond to women in need:
How to Respond uses videos to train the viewer about the importance of empathy and love when talking with women in these crucial situations
Her Perspective suggests responses to common fears women have and additional special topics
Help Centers is a quick and simple way to find local crisis pregnancy centers to quickly get women the professional help they need
